Ideas Factory

Welcome to The Simple Life

Not that we're ones to brag, but we're all very pleased and proud of one of the projects we have been working on for the past few months, which has just been launched.
The identity for Benham & Reeves is now up and running and neither we nor B&R could be happier.

Frame at Last!

We've brightened up the studio with some lovely prints from all over the world. We have a wall dedicated to Tokyo, as JD is a big fan. The Tokyo prints are by David McFarline (once a freelancer at Ideas Factory) and Jeremy Coysten from North.

We also have a 1972 München poster, as MJ loves all things Germany and we all think Otl Aicher is amazing.

Finally as we all love bikes (and peace!) we have a post from the 1971 Peace Race from Warsaw to Berlin to Prague.

Have a look at some below!

One Monkey Don't Stop No Show

Ever eager to explore around London, I ventured to Kilburn to see a play in the Tricycle theatre. 'One Monkey Don't Stop No Show', set in 1970's Philadelphia, follows a middle class black family living in the suburbs, who have to reassess their values when a niece arrives from the South.

It's a hilarious, well written and acted play with a fabulous motown feel. It's on at the Tricycle till the 9th of February so if this sounds like something you'd like, then it's well worth a watch!

Sounds of Hope

Four days into 2013 and hopes are still high. In order to welcome in the New Year we've created a playlist containing songs which detail our desires, dreams and aspirations for the New Year.

We hope you have a great one too, and maybe you could find some inspiration for the New Year within the playlist. Click here to listen. Enjoy!

Happy New Year!

Hello everyone, and a Happy New Year to you all! We're back in the studio on full throttle with an exciting year ahead.

I hope you all had a great break. I managed to see some great things over the Christmas break, including 'Gaiety is the Most Outstanding Feature of the Soviet Union' at the Saatchi Gallery, parts of the Parthenon in the British Museum and the amazing Death exhibition at The Wellcome Collection. The Death exhibition is on till the 24th of February and is well worth a visit.

Here's to a good new year!
