Warming Up

It's been cold. It's been cold to the bones. So whilst spring is springing into action, slowly, we have made an April playlist that is full of heart/chest/brain warming songs. Enough, even, to forget the wind, the rain and the cold.

And keep warm!

Final Push!

As you may have heard, Julia is running the London Marathon this year, and is looking for as much support as possible!

Whilst I have been giving motivational speeches, Julia has been counting the pennies and is almost at her target for sponsorship! She's raising money for Age UK and would appreciate some last minute help.

So please dig deep and help Julia and this great cause.

Weekend Away

Not a big fan of the cold weather and snow, I decided to go on an Easter-ish holiday to the wonderful city of Oslo. And I know what you're thinking - freezing! But actually it was a glorious four days, blue skies and bright sun, with lots of beautiful, Scandinavian design and flair on show.

Located in the Oslofjord, Oslo is a charming city with lots to offer. Grünerløkka is the 'Shoreditch' of Oslo, offering well dressed youngsters sipping coffee in the sun, or enjoying a beer or two in a similar sunny patch. Other delights include; the Opera house, designed to look like a glacier, that you can walk to the top of from the outside, the Munch museum, celebrating all things scream-inducing, Viking ships and the Fram which famously sailed to the South Pole to name but a few. And very expensive beer. And very stylish clothes.

See below for the Rådhus (my favourite building), the view from the Opera house, and the Parliament building, proudly sporting a Norwegian flag.
