Beautiful Books

I've been following and sincerely enjoying Lucy Corin's One Hundred Apocalypses on McSweeney's Internet Tendency for a while, so when they were released as a book of stories I had to get my hands on a copy.

I was amazed to find that the printed book is almost as beautiful, intriguing and interesting as the stories themselves. The hard cover is cut to reveal the book title with a strong, abstract illustration from Clare Rojas.

This book, in true McSweeney's form, reevaluates the printed book once again which is so refreshing and important, especially in these digital days.
