It's that time of year when we look back on 2013 and try to decide if it has been a good year or one to very much put behind us! While wandering through the Christmas market on the South Bank this weekend I decided to pop into the Royal Festival Hall to check out the World Press Photo Exhibition 2013. It's a great display of 350 of the best news and culture photos from the last year. It covers everything from natural disasters, to sporting achievements, conflicts, to the natural world. Sometimes graphic, sometimes horrifying, but overall a set of very moving images taken by nearly 6,000 photographers, spanning 124 different countries that provide a great visual portrait of the year past. It's free and on until 26th November.
Don't worry if you can't make it, you can also see the entries here.
