Challenge
Caroline Barty is an award winning freelance cookery writer. With several cookery books published and a regular contributor to House & Garden Magazine and recently shortlisted or Cookery Writer of the Year for the Guild of Food Writers Awards 2014, Caroline approached us to create a new identity. In particular, she was looking to set up a website, not just to promote herself but to be an informative guide to cooking with regular posts of mouth-watering recipes.

Results
With no current identity and nothing to represent her business online, we wanted to position her professional practice in a sophisticated manner. The identity is based on craft & character. Visual elements are taken from the cooking environment and used as backgrounds throughout. With the idea of the website being a guide, a blog-like website was created to allow Caroline to constantly update with recipes, reviews, and general things she may want to share.
