Having originally branded the highly successful Freedom Brewing Company and its flagship premises in Covent Garden, Ideas Factory were commissioned by the new owners of the Earlham Street site to create the identity and launch marketing material for Bünker — a Germanic bier hall in the heart of London.
Challenge
Bünker is one of London’s few genuine micro-breweries and our brief was to create a brand with a lively and inviting personality, which would ultimately appeal to beer-loving students and tourists without alienating the existing Freedom clientele.
Solution
Utilising the overall concept of ‘Munich bier festival in the heart of London’ we delivered strong graphics and confident, punchy copy which complemented the industrial style interior with its glowing copper brewing equipment.
Result
Bünker was an outstanding success, the confident, standout graphic identity created a true destination bar. Clearly defining the concept allowed for the 'bier festival' vibe to permeate throughout every brand touchpoint.
